A retired Civil Servant, Businessman, and practical Civil/Building Engineering Contractor, Umar Farouk Rabiu (Dansuleka), was born on 15th February, 1959, in Kududdufawa Quarters Kano City, in Kano Municipal Local Government. As tender age of Four (4) years, Umar was introduced to Islamic Education at Islamiyya School in Jingar / Quarters Kano City.
Umar was introduced to primary school Education in 1968 at Mayanka Primary School, Jakara Kano City, and completed his primary education at Gwale primary school in 1974. He then proceeded to Government Secondary Rigin from 1974 – 1979, shortly after graduation Umar proceeded to Kano Polytechnic from 1979 – 1981 and graduated to Kano Polytechnic from 1979 – 1981 and graduated with National Diploma in Secretariat Studies, immediately after completion Umar was employed as Confidential Secretary by defect Urban Development Board. Thereafter underwent series courses at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria leading to award of Administrative Management Training Course (AMTC) 1982/83 and Advanced Diploma in Public Administration (ADPA) 1988/89.
While in active service as a Civil servant Umar Farouk Rabiu did his degree programme in Bayero University Kano 1996 – 1999 leading to award of BSc Business Administration.
Sincerely, he has post graduate diploma in Development studied obtained in 2007 as well as Masters in Developments studies (MDS) all from Bayero University Kano (BUK).
